I received this gift from Anees when little Monkey was a month old. It was a beautiful hat mashaallah and she made it by hand. She is most talented in these arts and crafts (not to mention that she is fast too mashaAllah)! I totally loved the gift and was very sad to find out soon after receiving it that it was too small for little Monkey!!!
AARRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHH… was my first reaction! Well, inshaAllah I will get to put it on his siblings to come. LOL!
This one actually took me a long time! Not that I did not enjoy making it! I got so much going on that I think this one simply got pushed down the list! Also, I was a bit tired doing the black outline.
Alhamdulillah, it turned out great. The colors are bright and cheerful. Oh I forgot to mention that I also love tea cup designs (I am currently working on another bigger tea time project)!
Alhamdulillah, this was a fun one to do and it turned out wonderful! I used a new funky color (Anchor 530) and it went well with the black shading. This one is a keeper and I believe I know just the place for it! I highly recommend this one to any beginners (you will love it)!

Alhamdulillah! I have wanted to start on this one ever since I downloaded the pattern. In the very beginning, I had some trouble reading it. Although I knew its meaning, I simply refuse to start on it till I know how to read it myself (sigh… my need for the satisfaction of reading Arabic and a certain degree of stubbornness).
